Your Club will qualify for applying for a 2017-18 local district, international district or global grant if you meet these requirements:

  1. At least two Rotarians from your Club with a membership of 20 or more based upon Rotary International records as of July 1, 2016 must complete a Grant Management Seminar in 2017. If your Club has fewer than 20 members, at least one of your Rotarians must complete a Grant Management Seminar in 2017. The Chair of your grant project must complete the current Grant Management Seminar and anyone (except for your Club President) signing your grant application must also have completed the current Grant Management Seminar.

  2. The per capita giving for your Club in 2016-2017 to the Annual Fund of The Rotary Foundation must be at least $100.00 for each member of your Club if you want to receive matching funds from District Designated Funds (DDF), but you can apply for Global Grants from The Rotary Foundation. Your Club will have access to the 0.5:1 match from the World Fund, matching the Club cash in your application. The number of Rotarian members in your Club is based upon Rotary International records as of July 1, 2016.

  3. Your Club dues to both Rotary International and District 6290 must have been received by October 15, 2017 for your Club to submit any Grant application.

  4. All progress and final reports relating to your Club’s past or present grants must have been submitted in a timely manner and received by October 15, 2017 for all Grant applicants. 

  5. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) must be signed by your 2017-2018 Club President and your President-elect of your Club, which is to say your Club President for 2018-2019. Your MOU must be received by October 15, 2017 for any Grant application.

  6. District Addendum to your MOU must also be signed by your 2017-2018 Club President and the President-elect of that Club, your Club President for 2018-2019. The District Addendum to your MOU must be the same time as the MOU.
