Muskegon Rotary enabled a Day of Caring
Seven Orchard View High School Rotary Interactors joined Principal Samantha Wilson and over 25 Muskegon Rotarians and other Interactors, plus over 300 community volunteers recently for United Way Day of Caring, an annual event that took place at 17 sites around Muskegon County this year.  They made a positive difference in the lives of two local disabled military veterans, completing two major yard makeovers on McArthur Road and Fenner Road before the day ended at 2pm.
This was a great day of  teamwork and also the satisfaction of knowing that people like you can come together as a community and help each other.  Orchard View students stood tall and worked hard for Day of Caring.  They did a great job!
Orchard View Rotary Interact volunteers included Jenna Beckman, Mikayla Covington, River Creed, Elizabeth Estelle, Brooklyn Gould, Hikari Katsuzawa, and Interact President Carina Nunez.  Thank you all for your long term committment to Day of Caring and for Service Above Self efforts for the Muskegon community!
