Many presentations and discussions focused on how to provide every household in Haiti with potable water via a comprehensive approach, HANWASH, led by Rotary, both within Haiti and outside.
 
 
Our Host: District Governor Paul Heroman
 
Paul M. Heroman, an acknowledged transformational turn-around leader, has 30 years of experience instituting market-focused, quality improvement to stabilize businesses, reduce costs, grow revenue, and develop staff. Ten years ago, he began translating his deep experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership into his passion for developing future leaders in today’s workforce, obtaining an Executive M.B.A. in his transition to corporate education and development. 

Paul has been actively involved with Rotary International for more than 25 years, serving as the past president of the Ada-Cascade Club. He is past president of Rotary East Charities and Assistant Governor of District 6290. He is now  Rotary District 6290 Governor, 2022-23. 
 
Our Master of Ceremonies: Jon Caitlin
 
Jon Catlin got involved with Rotary as a Rotary Exchange Student to Finland in 1985-1986. He has served as President of the Cadillac Rotary Club, Assistant Governor, District Treasurer and District Governor. He is a member of the Paul Harris Society and Polio Plus Society.
Our Speaker on Friday Night: Mary Beth Growney Selene
 
Mary Beth has been a member of the Rotary Club of Madison West Middleton since 1987, and she served as Club President in 1993-1994.
 
In District 6250, she served as Governor in 2000-2001 and subsequently as District Membership Chair and District Rotary Foundation Chair.

Our Speakers on Saturday: Wildaine André and Ryan Rowe
 
Wildaine André, Conference Presenter, is an Episcopal priest at a church in northern Haiti. Among many other accomplishments, he is Past President of the Rotary Club of Memorial des Gonaives and was Assistant Governor for the North Region of Haiti (2021-2024). He is the Haiti National Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Initiative (HANWASH) Ambassor for his club and Foundation chair. At the end of the conference, he returned to Haiti.
 
Ryan Rowe, Conference Presenter, is CEO/Executive Director of HANWASH. He holds a Master of Business Administration from York University in Canada and a Master of Public Health from University of North Carolina. His accomplishments in academia and nonprofit work have won him many awards and honors. As one in particular, he was named a Rotary Peace Fellow in 2010.
