About this Event
Our workshops are designed to promote critical thought and introspection while sustaining an inviting space for conversation about various diversity and inclusion topics. This Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion workshop is designed to primarily focus on helping participants develop an awareness of their own implicit biases and will provide them with strategies on how to counteract those biases. Participants will learn about unconscious bias, and through activities, small group discussion, and large group sharing, they will be empowered to speak out in situations where implicit bias shows up. Our framework shifts away from blame, shame and guilt to an empowered sense of collective responsibility that embraces conscious approaches to justice and fairness for all.
