Rotary International President Yinka has encouraged clubs and districts to strengthen connections and try new approaches.

Taking President Yinka’s message to heart, District Governor Julie Schumaker will be holding regional multi-club mixers. These events are a great way to meet with District Governor Julie in a relaxed, informal setting, learn what other clubs are doing, and build connections with Rotarians from nearby clubs.

Look for a multi-club mixer at a location convenient to you!

The AG for each region, together with club presidents, will select a location within a 20-minute drive for most Rotarians. The mixers will bring together 3-5 clubs and will be held after work hours, generally 5-7 PM. They will begin with an hour of networking and then will include a short program of 30-35 minutes. DG Julie will share District priorities and activities for the year, and each Club President will be asked to share their club’s major service projects and fundraisers. The remainder of the time will be for socializing. The district will cover the cost for some appetizers, food and non-alcoholic beverages. Invite friends, colleagues, and family members. Children are welcome too!
