The Rotary Life Leadership Conference was one of the best experiences that I ever participated in. As a Rotary Youth Exchange student from Thailand, I truly have lots of conferences with Rotary. I learned more about Rotary and got to know Rotarians and other exchange students in District 6290, but the one thing that I never thought about was participating in the LLC in my exchange year. This conference motivated me to become a leader with great attitudes.
Molly Kennedy had a wonderful lesson that most impacted my life: “Flip your 20”. It’s alway reminding me to change my mindset to choose more positive thinking. The LLC taught me a good lesson that everything doesn’t have to be perfect and I can change my mindset (paradigm) to become a good leader in the future. There were a lot of opportunities to make connections with other people and staff. Thank you to the Muskegon Rotary Club for giving me this great opportunity to truly change my life and improve my leadership skills.
