Greetings, Rotarians!
My name is JR Muller from the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids, and I have the privilege of serving as the Rotary District 6290 Image Committee Chair. One of my goals this Rotary year is to help showcase the incredible work happening throughout our district and ensure that the stories of our clubs, members, and communities are seen and celebrated.
Every Rotary club has an impact worth sharing. Whether you’re planting trees, packaging meals, awarding scholarships, welcoming new members, or simply enjoying fellowship, you’re creating moments that inspire others and demonstrate Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self. Together, we can tell those stories and strengthen Rotary’s public image.

Our Facebook page is your source for:

- Event information and reminders
- Club spotlights

- Member recognition
- Leadership updates
- Photos and stories from across our district
If you haven’t already, please:
- Follow and Like the District 6290 Facebook page.
- Turn on notifications so you don’t miss important updates.
- Like, comment on, and share posts to help expand Rotary’s reach.
- Invite fellow Rotarians, friends, and community members to follow the page and discover the impact Rotary is making throughout West Michigan and Northern Indiana.
Every interaction helps us reach more people and tells the story of Rotary to potential members, partners, and supporters.
Help Your Club Get Noticed
I would love to highlight the amazing work your club is doing! Here are a few simple ways you can help us share your story:
- Take photos during meetings, service projects, and special events.
- Tell us what happened, who was involved, and how your project made a difference.
- Tag the District Facebook page whenever you post on your club’s page.
- Celebrate your members by recognizing achievements, new member inductions, awards, and milestones.
- Promote community events and invite the public to participate.
- Use Rotary branding consistently to strengthen our public image.
Most importantly, send your photos and stories to the District. We are always looking for content to feature on the District Facebook page, website, and future newsletters. Your club may inspire another club’s next service project—or even encourage someone to become a Rotarian.
Our district is filled with dedicated people doing extraordinary things every day. Let’s make sure those stories are seen.
I look forward to working with each of you this year and helping showcase the positive impact Rotary District 6290 continues to make in our communities.
Yours in Rotary,
JR
